TNNA is governed by a volunteer member Board of Directors.

The Education Committee focuses on providing TNNA members with the most up-to-date and informative educational programs available to industry representatives. The committee directs the Association’s educational programming to best meet the changing and developing needs of the membership, as well as the industry.

This committee is responsible for ensuring the financial stability and security of the Association. Through staff, committee and Board interaction, the goals of the Association are carefully balanced with the financial means of the Association. Through an accurate and fiscally sound budget and financially secure investments, this committee encourages the membership to promote, educate and develop new areas of consumer awareness and industry growth.

This committee is focused on publicizing and promoting TNNA membership and the needlearts industry in general. The committee focuses its efforts outside of the industry through work with a public relations agency, staff and talent from within the Association. The committee gives guidance and direction to the focus and message sent to the general public about needlearts.

The Retail Council acts as the governing body for the Retail Section and includes seven members. These retailers act on one of three standing committees: communications, business services and education.

The Trade Show Committee was put into place to monitor and address the ever changing directions and needs of the needlearts market and industry, while remaining fiscally sensitive and responsive to the association’s budgetary obligations. The Trade Show Committee’s ultimate goal is to make TNNA the premier showplace for needleart products.r
